Submissions

The Human Rights Watch International Film Festival looks for films and videos on a range of issues, from around the world, from both new and established human rights filmmakers. Artistic merit and human rights content are equally important in the selection process. Once a film is nominated by our programming committee, staff of the relevant division of Human Rights Watch confirm its accuracy in the portrayal of human rights concerns. More than 600 films and videos are screened each year.

To submit a film for consideration, please print out the Submission Form and send a completed version with a VHS, NTSC or PAL videotape of your work to:

DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES IS JANUARY 10, 1998.

Promotional materials may be included. In lieu of a submission fee, VHS tapes will not be returned.
