The incredible but true story of three brothers holding French and Moroccan nationality who spent over 18 years (1973-1991) in Moroccan prison camps without ever receiving a trial or even having charges brought against them. The brothers Bourquat were confined in the notorious prison camp Tazmamart in solitary confinement and complete darkness. Despite the lack of medical care, meager food supplies and extremely cold winters, the brothers survived and were finally released by random chance. When the King of Morocco was scheduled to visit President Bush he closed Tazmamart as a good-will gesture and the brothers were freed. This documentary tells the story of brutal suffering and the brothers' current fight for justice.
