Set in Latin America, Knocks At My Door explores the process of human commitment, both ethical and spiritual, which two nuns maintain in a society where relationships between social classes, history, and models of development clash, often resulting in war and revolution. Ana and Ursula are part of a powerful religious order that identifies itself with the masses, bringing them into conflict with the world around them. When an intruder enters their world, they are forced to face the conflict between their view of reality and their vows to God.
